  • What is the Law of Attraction?

The Law of Attraction is the modern title given to an ancient decree taught in science and spiritual teachings world-wide.  Simply put, the Law says what you put out comes back.

Sir Isaac Newton’s 1668 observation, “For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction” is the unrefuted Third Law of Physics, and it is a cornerstone of mathematics, energy and quantum physics

In world religions the Bible says, “Whatsoever a man soweth, so shall he reap.”  Buddha, “As a man thinketh, so is he.”  The Kabbalah, “Three are the dwellings of the sons and daughters of Man.  Thought, feeling, and body.  When the three become one, you will say to this mountain “move” and the mountain will move.”

All are ways of describing the Law of Attraction.

My definition of the Law of Attraction:  For every thought, word, idea and belief I hold, there is an effect, outcome, consequence, or habit that I will at some point experience.

  • What is coaching with the Law of Attraction?

We look at what brought you to coaching in the first place.  Then we work together to identify the ideas, thoughts and beliefs you hold, that contribute to your unrest, so you can shift your attention and begin to enjoy the life you desire NO MATTER WHAT is going on within or around you.

  • Where do coaching sessions take place?

Coaching is done via ZOOM, an on-line video conferencing platform that allows us to communicate (with or without video) and to record our sessions, so you can download them for continued use.

  • I don’t like to meet over the internet. Do you ever coach face-to-face?

If you are local to my area, we can absolutely meet face-to-face.  The downside to that is, we won’t be able to record our sessions, but I am happy to do so.  If you want a recording, or we can’t sit across the table from each other meeting over ZOOM is the next best thing.

  • Do I have to pay for ZOOM or the recording’s?

No, we will use my Zoom account.  Before our session I will send you a link to our call.  You will be able to click on the link and we should be ready to go.

  • What’s the difference between therapy and coaching?

Therapists work with clients needing professional help to work towards healing and recovery.  Coaches work with people who want a detached and objective partner to help them evolve, transform and enhance their life.

  • What’s the difference between consulting and coaching?

Consultants are hired to produce a certain outcome and advise clients on how to get there.  Coaches are people focused.  We are hired to guide you to your own solutions, and to support you as you discover and navigate your process.

  • What’s the difference between talking to a really good friend and coaching?

Friends take your call in the middle of the night and they are there through thick and thin.  A coach helps bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be.  Coaches view your situation with new eyes and ears, they provide a nonjudgmental and safe place for you to figure out how to navigate your gap.  Coaches are the ones who ask the hard questions that friends don’t like to ask.

  • What can I expect to gain from our partnership?

Through the coaching process you will begin to see things from a different perspective.  You will discover how to access your own infinite wisdom, realize the answers are already within you, come to your own conclusions and create your own solutions.  Above all, you will begin live life on life’s terms as an active and conscious partner in its unfolding.

  • What happens in a coaching session?

You will set an intention for what you would like to accomplish during each session.  We’ll do a quick check in to see how you are doing, talk about some of the successes you have enjoyed since our last time together.  Then we’ll talk about your intention and I’ll invite you to work through a coaching process with me to help you move towards your intention.  Before we close, we’ll make sure you know how to work with the process between sessions, and I’ll ask for your commitment to practice the process in your daily life.
